Everyday I think about posting about our Christmas break-then I go to bed. But, it was a really fun Christmas and
Jaydon was so fun to have around. We spent Christmas Eve at Jason's parents house, then came home to watch Santa Paws. We all got to bed and Santa delivered in the morning. Jason's parents came over to see
Jaydon's loot and watch him open presents and that was kind of fun. He was
soooo excited to see his garbage truck and dump truck (he'd been asking for that for a few months). Then he opened his Thomas the train stuff from Santa and was so excited to see that he got trains too! He was spoiled rotten as he also got Toy Story stuff and matching
pjs and tools!!! My parents gave him a wagon and Jason's parents gave him some more tools-so our house has been getting fixed a lot lately:)!
After Christmas morning at our house, we went to Jason's parents, then up to I.F. to visit my family. We stayed for a few days, then came back so I could still work a few days. The whole time up there,
Jaydon kept asking if he could play with his trains. I have to admit I did feel a little bad for him. To get a fun
surprise from Santa and then have to go visit grandma and grandpa seemed so unfair, I'm sure! But, the day we came home, we put away our Christmas and
Jaydon played for HOURS with his trains...he'd just lay there and watch them go around and hook more freight cars on, and take them off, then add them on, and so on, and so on....it was really nice!
Jason had the entire week off and by the end of it, I think he was ready to go back. He kept asking "What do you guys do all day?" I hope he figured it out! We had a lot of fun playing and relaxing, but even
Jaydon was ready to go play with his cousins (where he goes while I'm at work!) He kept asking to play with Addy, so luckily, we went bowling with them last Saturday and
Jaydon had a blast! He got to play a few games and bowl, then we went home and had pizza so he was happy! Now work is up and going and Jason told me it didn't last long till he felt like it wasn't as good to get back to work as he thought! (Told ya!) BUT, we are having a fun winter with all of our new toys. Not saying it wouldn't be nice to see some signs of spring though- Happy Wishing!
P.S. When we downloaded the Christmas pictures we notice a certain little somebody got a hold of a certain something they are NOT to touch...he saw them and said "I did picture of my toys!" He was really proud, how could I resist the cute pictures from a two-year-old
view!
