Valentine's

We had a fun Valentine's weekend. We celebrated the whole weekend through. I had to put Jaydon eating goldfish because they are his new favorite! And he's now getting the hang of it when I say "cheese" or smile"! The next picture is me and Jaydon on Valentines. Jason and I went out the Saturday before Valentine's to buy a new washer and dryer set. Our old washer still works, but on a smaller size load only, and our dryer, which is Jason's grandma's old one...burnt our clothes! So I said enough was enough, and we unfortunately had to buy a matching set. (I'm just weird like that I suppose...) Anyhow, we found a good set that are front loading and I'm actually really excited to do laundry in them, BUT they won't be delievered until the 1st week of March! It's funny how the thought of doing laundry in a new and upgraded machine sounds so exciting! So needless to say, we told each other to not spend money on Valentine's stuff so we comprimised and did other things instead. I made Jason dinner on Friday night, and he made me dinner on Saturday. Then I stole this idea off of Hilarie's blog and made Jason a Valentine's breakfast.
He and Jaydon also picked me out a balloon and flower, while Jaydon and I gave Jason a "heart-ya-appreciated?" gift on Valentine's. We listed everything we love about Jason on heart-shaped paper and then put them on York peppermint patties. It was fun! Last but not least is all of my siblings that live in Cache Valley! I made them these fun Valentine's bags instead of the regular sugar cookies treat!
Thank you to Devin for coming over and babysitting on Valentines too! We went out and had fun, and even came home to Jaydon in bed! Yay! Hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's as much as I did!

Happy Birthday!

Jason celebrated his birthday a couple of weeks ago, but I keep putting off posting about it. He was actually gone on his birthday for a little business trip. I was going to go down and have dinner with him, but it didn't work out. So instead, when he got home Jaydon and I had made him dinner, had gifts for him to open, and even cake and ice cream for dessert! Our niece, Addy had her birthday on Sunday.. She is ONE! I tend Addy a couple of times a week while my sister tends Jaydon so he and Addy are pretty good buddies. While she was opening gifts, Jaydon had to get in with the action! He was right there with her tugging the paper of her gifts! I guess it'll be good practice for his birthday They are growing up way too fast! Then, of course, I had to post some cute pictures of Jaydon. He is starting to warm up to the camera and show off his shiny white teeth! He usually turns his head or closes his eyes when the flash goes off, but he is. getting better! He loves trucks and/or anything with wheels. He isn't as good as "driving" them as he is turning them over on their backside and spinning the wheels. However, he's seen Addy driving the cars and I've noticed that he's starting to drive them too!
