It's Almost Christmas!

We are so excited for Christmas to come! Jaydon is at the perfect age, young enough to be in awe at the lights and snow! And not old enough to want specifics for Christmas so shopping was easy!
We were outside and Jason took him into the snow and he was really worried about it sticking on his boots, and certainly didn't want it on his hands! One day I was shoveling and he didn't want to come in. So, I lured him into the garage and shut the door. FINALLY, he came in after playing with some sidewalk chalk for awhile. He also has a "I love Santa" shirt we put him in. It is a little girly and perhaps it's sending the wrong message for Christmas, but he did get a few comments while wearing it! He is all boy and loves sports and so hopefully Santa will find him and give him something to occupy his little mischievous mind! Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and lots of fun!

Thanksgiving week

Jaydon has just realized that when he says water, he gets a bath. The other night we were eating dinner and he hands me his plate. I said to him, "Are you all done?" and he nodded while saying "Water, water, water." So, he's extra clean lately!
We went to visit grandma and grandpa (and everyone else) for the weekend too. Aunt Shay had a guitar out in her room. When she showed him how it made sound, he was not shy at trying it out, he loved it!

With so much family around, I didn't watch Jaydon as well as I do at home.
The 1st night we were there, he realized there were Barbie's upstairs. He and Addy were up there playing for awhile one night. He must have thought all of the Barbie stuff was pretty cool, because we don't have them at home. (Nor will we until we have a little girl.)

Jason was also helping Jaydon play air hockey. He really didn't "play" but he was laughing and having a good time.

Jaydon is too spoiled to talk about. This is him in our bed one Sunday morning. I needed to get ready and since Jason's at meetings Sunday morning, I put in Barney, gave him some milk, and the remote. It kept him entertained for quite awhile!

Like I said, he is spoiled! But a couple weeks ago when Jason was gone, I was getting out chicken nuggets for dinner. He saw the ice cream and wanted that instead. So, he had ice cream for dinner! (Don't worry, he ate real food later.)
