Father's Day

 
These are a few pictures of Jaydon that I took for Father's Day. I bought Jason a little basketball frame and thought I'd try taking a cute picture for it. Jason's mom found this little outfit, and you might not be able to tell, but it has #32 on it- Karl Malone's number. Anyhow, Jaydon was making a sorts of faces and poses, but we got one to work and Jason loves the picture and will take it to work for his desk! We had a good Father's Day and hope Jason felt like the #1 Dad that he is! We love our Dad!

We've had lots of fun lately with everything going on. I love this time in May with Mother's Day, our Anniversary, and my birthday all together. When I got home on Wednesday after work, Jason had a little gift for me, then we went to dinner. We used the DVR for American Idol so we wouldn't miss anything exciting! We came home and Jason got Jaydon ready for bed while I talked to everyone who called me! (Thanks for all of the birthday wishes, everyone!) We were so happy Kris won, a little suprised too! Then Jason came home early for us to spread mulch throughout all of our flower beds. It took a good part of Thursday night, as well as Friday to get it all down. We were also suprised to hear that my parents were coming down on Memorial Day. We spent the day at Willow Park and visiting the little zoo. It was fun to go and Jaydon loved the birds moving around. The city worker also got the snake out and Jaydon was able to pet the snake! He was ok with it the 1st time, then he wasn't so sure after that! It was a fun four day weekend and kind of hard to go back to life. Oh well, we'll have lots of fun through out the whole summer!

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband. We've been married for 5 years today! These pictures are completely random, but I was trying to find pictures of us and him, and we weren't too good at getting the camera out before Jaydon came along...

Since Jason is in SLC with work today, we are celebrating tomorrow by going to Park City. It'll be fun and exciting as we decided to take Jaydon with us! Thank you to my loving husband for 5 great years, and many more to come! LOVE YOU!!!

Happy Birthday Jaydon

 

Jaydon had his birthday yesterday and it was a busy, fun-filled day! I started frosting Jaydon's bear cake while he was napping, but his nap only lasted 40 minutes. So I gave him a mini spatula and sat him on the counter while I finished. He loved dipping the spatula into the blue frosting and eating it...it was all over his face, but it was his birthday so I let him have at it. It was really nice outside so we went out in the afternoon so he could push his little tonka truck around. He loves being outside and loves pushing that little truck around so we had a good time. Then we came inside and got dinner ready, Jaydon got lots of cheese to eat while I was doing that, which he loves too! Then we had our neighbors and family for cake and ice cream. Grandma Sleight brought a little chair over for Jaydon and he liked that instantly, he also loved all of the balls he got too. He loves anything that he can throw, and has a good arm too... He wanted to grab the candle the moment it was lit, and Jason showed him how good and messy cake is! We ended the night by a bubble bath before bed! We love Jaydon lots and lots and it's hard to believe it's been a year! We can't imagine life without him, we're so glad he came to our family! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAYDON!!!

Easter

We had a fun Easter with Jaydon this year. Holidays are so much better with a baby around...he's sure growing up fast, can't beleive he'll be one next week! Crazy!!!

Last weekend...

Jaydon loves his new little truck! It was suppposed to be for his birthday, but he'd been walking around furniture and things, that we thought we might as well get it out and let him use it! He pushes it all over the house and puts stuff in it...then throws it outs...then he plays with the wheels...let's just say he has fun with it! I can't believe that he'll be walking soon, but I don't mind. (Everyone always says "oh, you can wait, he'll be into everything once he's walking...") Well, he already is, so I really don't mind!
 
  Jason was playing with Jaydon and feeding him candy, which of course made Jaydon happy...it really was kinda funny though! I finally grabbed the camera and got this picture of his teeth coming in...no wonder there's been some rough nights lately...
 
Also, my sister Caitlin turned 20 on Monday. We had a little get together last weekend while my parents were here. We had lots of good food and fun games, and then cake and ice cream to top it off! The cake she likes is pina colada...sound interesting, huh? Well, it actually was pretty good. Happy Birthday Caitlin!

Finally...

Finally, I had my camera with me when I caught Jaydon and Addy doing what they love to do together...throwing tupperware out from the drawers! It's funny, one starts to throw lids and containers out and the other one is right there! They sure have fun doing it though and it's hilarious when they start giggling when they wear the tupperware on their heads. Then they tip their head down and let it fall, trying it out on all of us...it's funny what kids find fun.
Anyhow, we've also had a few days of nice weather. Maybe I should say NICER weather. I've been able to take Jaydon out for a few walks lately and it's been so nice to get some fresh air. Yay for warmer weather, and hopefully Spring will come soon!
