Easter

I better get Easter up before Jaydon's birthday!  This year Jaydon really got into dying eggs.  We went to the store and bought an egg coloring kit about a month in advance and he asked if we could dye eggs...finally is was April and so yes, we could dye eggs!  He is on a Cars kick right now so we had cars wrappers, I think that was his favorite part.  We also found a kit I bought last year after Easter for this year, so we dyed eggs again.  I don't have anymore dye so we are done.
Jori loves this toy.  We got it out while we were watching Conference and it is a life saver.  I stick her in it and make dinner, vacuum, fold laundry, actually I put her in here all of the time for almost anything I do.  She is sure pulling out her personality now and is such a fun baby.

Jaydon was playing peek-a-boo with her and she was almost laughing.  We've got more laughs out of her lately, but she is still Miss Curious and takes a bit to break out of her shell.
Jori with her basket on Easter morning.  She has no idea what is going on, obviously...
Jaydon and his easter basket on Easter morning.  He was excited to get some of his stuff and take it to church with us.
After church we hurried to take a picture.  Jaydon and Jori both had purple on for their Easter outfits this year!

February and March

These pictures are all random but here are some from February and March. Starting of with St. Patrick's day is Jaydon showing of his leprechaun he and I made. Can you tell how excited he is? He would NOT wear green, telling me leprechauns wear blue. When I told him I would pinch him if he didn't he just said "You won't pinch me cause I love you!" I did convince him to wear a green jacket when we went to the store at least!
The kids with Daddy. Although Jaydon always calls him Jason. We have to laugh about it because I am sure people think he is my boyfriend or something when we are out in public, but at least he knows his dad's name.
Jaydon showing off dinner. We had green tacos for dinner with guacamole and kiwis. Jaydon ate all of his dinner, I think I will buy green tortillas from now on.
When we are inside Jaydon is still my little Mr. Fix-it. He isn't always fixing stuff with toy tools, and that is when things can get interesting.
We are trying to get Jori to sit up. She is a little behind on stuff, but at her 6-month check up her doctor told me not to worry and that she will probably be behind a little until she is 2-3 years old. She will now roll over and can almost sit on her own. She is a happy girl, always smiling, but when the camera comes out she always has that curious face on.
Jori with daddy while he is reading Hunger Games. We both got hooked on the series and I read all 3 books in 3 weeks. Jason started shortly after and is almost done with the 3rd. He decided to surprise me with tickets to go see it opening night. Finally something we both like!
Jaydon playing again with his trucks. The weather is too wishy-washy but when it is nice we have been outside at the park! Love being able to be outside!
One night I brought Jori into our bed because she just wouldn't go to sleep and I was too tired to keep trying. In the morning Jason had gotten up and asked how long Jaydon had been in our bed....I didn't know but Jason and I were really uncomfortable and it is because of these two! They took over our bed!
Sometimes I will take a picture and think of one I have of Jaydon in about the same pose. I took a picture of Jori (6 months) trying food for the 1st time. It reminded me of Jaydon (he is 4 months). Jori still won't eat solids and I try everything I know to get her to eat, but Jaydon on the other hand liked cereal from the get go. I need to figure something out so she won't wake up in the middle of the night. I think they look a lot alike, only Jaydon's got the blue eyes and Jori's are brown.
Same thing with the tub picture. Jori on the top and Jaydon on the bottom. They both almost 6 months old. They are definitely siblings.
I decided that even though Jaydon is a giant 3-almost-4-year-old, he will have to ride in the stroller when I want to go long distances. This is the 1st day we tried putting them both in there and they fit! I was excited and hope they will cooperate with me this summer!

January happenings

We celebrated my sister T'aira's birthday on Friday the 13th. We were keeping the party alive all night by going to Pizza Pie Cafe and then to Twizlberry.

We went to Natalie's house last to let her blow out her candles and open gifts.

We've been keeping busy indoors with hours and hours of trains.

We celebrated Jason's birthday on the 21st. He is now 31 and when I showed Jaydon how old daddy was with 3 fingers up on one hand and 1 on the other, he said "Hey, that's how old I'm being on my birthday!" It was kinda funny.

Jason and Jaydon will play "cars" where they run around the house. Or when Cars is on they will run around in circles during the race. Jaydon is always McQueen and Jason is always Chick Hicks. That is why he has a Chick Hicks cake!

Another day being inside. I found out my stamps keep Jaydon really busy!

Me and Jori after Jason's family party-can't forget the girls!

Jori is crazy when she eats! She cries like crazy and once the bottle is in her mouth she just goes to town. If is happens to fall out at all she screams...gotta remember to keep it in. One day she just didn't want to be done so I just let her keep her death grip on the bottle. Found out she has a dairy allergy so now it has been 1 month of drinking formula only! And we also realized she was allergic to our laundry detergent. After washing ALL of her stuff she is doing much better. Girls really are high maintenance!

We made paper airplanes one day and were flying them around the house. It was kind of nice outside so we decided to go out and have some races.

At the park with our airplanes too.

Jori was there too-just all bundled up.

One day after church we were taking Jori's picture. She is 4 months in this picture. Jaydon always wants his done too so here they are together. They looked so cute! (Thanks Lisa for the cute dress!)

Christmas

This is picture overload...here is what our holidays looked like:

After a party and Jason's sister the family went to Temple Square.

Our family at the temple warming up.

Making a gingerbread house with my sister...she is taking the picture!

Jaydon on Christmas morning in front of his Santa stuff.

Jori on Christmas morning ON her Santa stuff.

Sitting so good while we opened presents.

Jaydon showing off his remote control Lightening McQueen.

After opening presents he came and gave me a hug!

Christmas day at my parents.

She is starting to smile but I can never catch it!

A 4 generation picture at a winter party with my dad's side.

Great grandma and Jori-look at the face on that girl! I love this picture.

Jaydon with all of his 2nd cousins...they were having a blast!

It has been too long since I last posted but we had a fun holiday season. Can't believe that it is over already but don't worry, Jaydon is already talking about when Santa will come again....we have a long year ahead of us I'm afraid! Now it is back to our regular routines which is not always bad, and thankful for the fun memories we made this year!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving weekend. It was long! And it was nice to have Jason home for a bit! We stayed here and just hung around-just the way we like it!

Jaydon and Jori in our bed Thanksgiving morning. Jori's face will probably look like this whenever she's thinking about her brother. If only I could know what she's thinking...probably something to the effect of "he's crazy!"

After getting back form Grandma's I still needed a picture of the two of them! Jaydon was walking Daisy and then Daisy walked Jaydon a little too fast and he smacked his forehead onto the road! He wasn't happy with Daisy at all!

We decided to take the kids to Preston on Saturday to see the little lights display they have and go to dinner. Really to get out of the house and do something. When we got there the police had blocked off Main street and told us there was a parade. We pulled off to a little mexican restaurant right on Main and Jason and Jaydon got out to see fireworks and the light parade. The floats are the lights at the place we were headed anyways so it was extra fun because we weren't expecting it!

While we were eating dinner our neighbors were there too. They told us of this house that does a huge light display so we went there. It was huge and bigger than the city display (it doesn't take much!) Jaydon loved it because you drive around there driveway and it does a loop. Each side had different stuff but they had different Disney and Christmas displays with lights and stuff that moved. Their house had Santa going down the chimney and Jaydon thought it was pretty cool!

Love this picture! She is starting to look at me and smile and coo. She is almost 3 months too-time flies!

Jaydon so proud of helping us finish decorating our tree. It never is done though, he keeps moving stuff around and adding to it. He is sooo excited!
